The Board of Directors of the Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) is seeking individuals who are committed to FVLC’s mission. FVLC helps diverse communities in Alameda County heal from domestic violence and sexual assault, advocating for justice and healthy relationships. We provide survivor-centered legal and crisis intervention services, offer prevention education for youth and other community members, and engage in policy work to create systemic change.
FUNCTION: The Board of Directors actively governs and oversees the management of FVLC. The Board’s duties include fundraising, policy making, fiscal planning and management, strategic planning, board development, public relations, and supervision of the Executive Director.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
