    Social Media Volunteer - Paid

    Are you creative or unique about making a difference in your community? Do you have a knack for social media and a creative flair? The Halo Food Project is looking for a dedicated Social Media Manager to join our team as a paid volunteer!

    About Us: The Halo Food Project is a community-based project committed to providing farm-direct fresh and healthy food brands and products to those in need. We believe in the power of community and the importance of food security for all.

    Location: Los Angeles, South Los Angeles, and neighboring areas.

    Compensation: Stipend - $600 Monthly or $30 hr

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a creative social media strategy to increase our online presence and engagement.
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms.
    • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating engagement.
    • Analyze key metrics and adjust strategy as needed.
    • Collaborate with other team members to enhance reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in social media management. (Trackable)
    • Excellent written, visual, and communication skills.
    • Social analytics tools knowledge.
    • Positive attitude, detail-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
    • Great at creating engaging content.
    • Passion for the mission of environment and food access.
