Dog Walker

Dog Socializers help promote the health and welfare of our shelter dog population by providing individual attention and walks.

• Walk adoptable dogs so they can relieve themselves outside and get some fresh air.
• Spending time with adoptable dogs in fenced play yards.
• Sit with adoptable dogs to promote relaxation and calm behavior.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to interact with shelter animals. All minors, 16 years old and up, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if wishing to interact with animals.
