    Volunteer Grant Writer – Nonprofit Organization

    Are you looking to make a meaningful impact while developing your professional skills? Join our nonprofit organization as a Volunteer Grant Writer! In this role, you’ll help secure funding to sustain and grow our programs, all while gaining valuable experience and access to training and professional development opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research potential funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
    • Write and submit persuasive grant proposals, tailored to funders’ requirements and priorities.
    • Collaborate with staff and board members to gather necessary information for grant applications.
    • Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
    • Assist with grant reporting, including progress updates and final reports to funders.
    • Stay informed about best practices and trends in grant writing and nonprofit funding.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
    • Research skills and attention to detail.
    • Previous experience in grant writing or nonprofit work is a plus, but not required.
    • Passion for community service and alignment with our mission.

    Time Commitment:

    Approximately 5-10 hours per month, with flexibility based on grant deadlines.
