The Empowerment Network is seeking enthusiastic and organized volunteers to join our team as Event Planning Assistants! In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping plan and execute an upcoming event that supports our mission of empowering communities.
As an Event Planning Assistant, you will assist with key event logistics, including coordinating event details, making phone calls to potential donors and sponsors, and helping to ensure the success of our fundraising efforts. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and organizing event logistics
• Make phone calls to potential donors and sponsors
• Help with outreach and coordination of event partnerships
• Collaborate with our team to ensure the event runs smoothly
• Provide general support leading up to and during the event
Skills Needed:
• Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
• Organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for community engagement and nonprofit work
• Experience in event planning or fundraising is a plus, but not required
Commitment:
• Flexible hours with a time commitment of 5-10 hours per week
• Volunteer position will last until the event date, with the possibility of extended involvement based on interest and availability
