    Grants and Donor Manager – Nonprofit Organization

    Are you skilled in building relationships and securing resources to drive meaningful change? Join our nonprofit organization as a Volunteer Grants and Donor Manager! In this essential role, you’ll lead efforts to secure funding through grant writing and donor engagement, ensuring our programs thrive and our mission grows.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and programs.
    • Write and submit compelling grant proposals, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.
    • Cultivate relationships with individual donors, businesses, and foundations to build long-term support.
    • Develop and manage a donor database to track contributions and maintain donor communications.
    • Collaborate with the Treasurer and Board to align fundraising efforts with the organization’s budget and goals.
    • Prepare and distribute regular updates to donors, showcasing the impact of their contributions.
    • Organize and participate in donor appreciation activities and events.
    • Monitor grant-funded projects to ensure compliance with reporting and funding requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong writing and communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling proposals.
    • Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or donor relations (preferred but not required).
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
    • Passion for community service and alignment with the organization’s mission.
    • Familiarity with fundraising tools or CRM platforms (preferred but not required).

    Time Commitment:

    Approximately 6-8 hours per month, with flexibility based on grant cycles and fundraising activities.
