What’s the Mission?

Project HealWave is a health advocacy initiative aimed at bridging the gap in healthcare access and addressing pressing health challenges like maternal health, non-communicable diseases, and mental health awareness. Volunteers will lead campaigns, organize health workshops, and work closely with local communities to champion health equity. 💡✨

Volunteer Roles and Activities:

• 🏥 Health Advocacy Champion: Raise awareness on key health issues through campaigns, social media outreach, and community events.
• 📚 Health Educator: Conduct workshops on topics like maternal health, disease prevention, and mental wellness.
• 🌿 Wellness Promoter: Teach communities about healthy lifestyles, including nutrition, exercise, and stress management.
• 🤝 Community Mobilizer: Build partnerships with local clinics and organizations to improve health services.
• ✍️ Policy Advocate: Support advocacy efforts by drafting letters or proposals to local governments about healthcare improvements.

What You’ll Do:

• Host health fairs and screening events for underserved populations.
• Organize campaigns to educate communities about preventable diseases like diabetes and hypertension.
• Distribute informational materials on mental health, reproductive health, and child health.
• Work with local health workers to identify and address specific health needs in communities.
• Advocate for better healthcare infrastructure and accessibility.

Volunteer Fee

To ensure the project’s success, there’s a $600 fee per volunteer. This fee includes:
