    Night Owl Reconnaissance (NOR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit using OSINT-driven investigations to locate missing persons, prevent disappearances, and support those recovered. We work alongside law enforcement, advocacy groups, and families to uncover leads and bring clarity to cases.

    About the Role

    The Case Assessment Specialist helps identify missing persons cases for NOR’s investigative research teams. You will research, review, and organize case details from social media, news, and public records, ensuring accurate information is available for investigation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor and assess missing persons cases from social media and news sources
    • Compile and organize case details for NOR’s investigators
    • Identify potential leads and patterns through OSINT research
    • Document findings and sources for future reference
    • Collaborate with investigators to prioritize cases

    Who Should Apply?

    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Familiarity with social media, public records, and OSINT research
    • Attention to detail and ability to organize information effectively
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive cases
    • Experience in investigations, intelligence, or research is a plus but not required
