About Us:

Abilities Travel Club is an organization dedicated to providing accessible travel opportunities for individuals with disabilities and seniors. We are seeking friendly and reliable volunteers to assist with our Eat, Meet, & Greets.

Job Summary:

As an Event Volunteer, you will provide support and assistance to our participants/travelers during our Eat, Meet, & Greet events. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and help them feel included and supported.

Responsibilities:

• Assist participants/travelers with getting to their seats at the restaurant
• Help participants/travelers with accessing the bathroom facilities
• Assist participants/travelers with paying for their meal ticket (if needed)
• Provide general support and companionship to participants/travelers during the event
• Help create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and transfer participants (if necessary)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and understanding of individuals with disabilities
• Ability to commit to the scheduled event time
• Resume is required

Time Commitment:

• Typically 2-4 hours per event

Reporting:

• Directly reports to the Founder, Owner, & President of Abilities Travel Club
