Community Outreach Directror

The Comfort Home Place serves, houses, and empowers individuals who have experienced domestic violence. We are searching for an outgoing individual to join our bard of directors as the Community Outreach Director. The role would require a dedication of 5 hours per week with open time flexibility.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop programs and partnerships to engage with the community.
• Establish relationships with local organizations, government agencies, media outlets, and service providers.
• Lead outreach initiatives to increase awareness and support for the organization.
• Oversees volunteer recruitment and management.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement, advocacy, or public relations.
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with local social services and community resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public relations, communications, or a related field.

While this position requires minimal time input, we are planning to transition it into a paid, full-time role in the future.
