Creshendo believes refugee integration is strongest when community voices lead. Our programs are co-designed with refugee partners, and our workshops feature speakers with lived experience who bring authenticity and trust.

We are seeking a Community Outreach & Guest Engagement Volunteer to support both participant recruitment and guest speaker coordination for our 8-week virtual integration program.

Role Overview

This role bridges communication between refugee communities, grassroots partners, and our program team. You’ll help ensure that both participants and speakers feel welcomed, prepared, and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to refugee communities and grassroots orgs to promote the program
• Support onboarding and orientation of selected participants
• Identify, invite, and prepare guest speakers with lived or professional experience
• Help facilitate communication and reminders through WhatsApp and email

Qualifications

• Background in advocacy, outreach, or program coordination
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
• Experience working with refugees or immigrant communities a plus
• Availability of 6–10 hours per week for 4-6 months
