Time Commitment
- Start date: April or May 2025
- Hour per month: 1-3 hours per month (Volunteers can select their own hours—Monday through Friday—based on their schedule/time zone; all volunteers will use InReach’s volunteer management system to log their hours for accountability.)
- Location: Fully remote (from anywhere in the United States)
- Compensation: Unpaid
- Onboarding schedule:
- Initial onboarding meeting schedule: 2 meetings over Zoom
- Post-onboarding meeting schedule: Meet over Zoom once every other month

About InReach: We are InReach, a trans-led tech nonprofit building the world’s first open source verified LGBTQ+ resource platform. InReach is available on web (desktop and mobile), native iOS, and Android. Our vision is to ensure every trans and queer person has on-demand access to the safe resources they need to thrive. Over 420,000 people have used InReach to access verified LGBTQ+ resources.
About the Role: Contribute to InReach's Google Ads Grants account to help ensure every transgender and queer person in need knows about the world’s first open source verified LGBTQ+ resource platform!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our volunteer Marketing Director to manage InReach's Google Ads Grants account and maintain a strong click-through rate (CTR).
- Monitor and refine ad campaigns, providing strategic recommendations for optimization.
- Write compelling ad copy that drives engagement and increases visibility.
- Analyze campaign performance and assist in preparing performance reports for InReach staff.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn Google Ads. (Google Ads certification is a bonus!)
- Interest in copywriting.
- Deep commitment to and passion for increasing access to safe, verified resources for the diverse LGBTQ+ community.
