The Youth Sports Science Institute (YSSI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to merging sports and STEM education to empower youth, particularly in underserved Black and Brown communities. YSSI uses innovative tools like wearable sports technology, VR/AR, and data analytics to teach STEM concepts through sports, creating hands-on learning experiences that connect athletic interests with career pathways in technology, health sciences, and data analytics. By addressing the digital divide and fostering diversity in STEM, YSSI provides students with the skills and confidence needed to excel in academics, athletics, and future workforce opportunities.
