Daly City Youth Health Center

Our mission is to foster healthier, happier, and more self-reliant youth, families, and communities through comprehensive healthcare for underserved communities in San Mateo County.

The Daly City Youth Health Center (DCYHC) was founded in 1990 in response to health disparities among BIPOC youth in North San Mateo County. DCYHC, in collaboration with Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD) and San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC), is a community wellness center, serving as a one stop shop, providing primary care, behavioral health care, substance use prevention, and health education for youth ages 6-25 and their families. Our partnerships with JUHSD, SMMC, and other local agencies allow us to reach more youth and families to address their needs in a holistic way by bridging all of our services. We increase access to care by providing multiple entry points to our wrap-like support network. In order to meet the specific needs of our clients, we provide services in our clinic, schools, community, and client homes.
