    The Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK) was founded in 1992 to address the inadequate resources for Asians facing domestic violence. ATASK's mission is to prevent domestic violence in Asian families and communities and to provide hope to survivors. We provide culturally/linguistically appropriate services to mostly Asian immigrants. The services/programs include but are not limited to: multilingual 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, bi-lingual advocacy services, children's program, Life Skills/ESOL program, Asian Women's Empowerment Program, outreach, education and trainings on teen dating violence and cultural competency. Currently ATASK's language capacity extends to over 15 languages - English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Toishanese, Vietnamese, Khmer (Cambodian), Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Urdu, Nepali, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, and Tagalog.
