  • Sobre Nós

Electing Women Bay Area is a giving group that hosts fundraising events for women candidates running for Senate, governor and president. We have groups in four locations: San Francisco, Silicon Valley, East Bay, and Sonoma.

Our model is membership-based and designed to create intentionality and community around political giving. Members are educated and informed about the political landscape and individual races so they can make decisions about which events to attend and which candidates to support. We host at least 10 to 12 candidates per year and bring them to multiple locations during each visit.

EWBA is part of the Electing Women Alliance, a national umbrella group with locations in 16 cities. Collectively the groups raised over $6 million for women candidates in the 2018 election cycle and are on track to surpass that amount in 2020.
