Background
Catholics for Choice (CFC) was founded in 1973 to shape and advance sexual and reproductive ethics based on justice, reflect a commitment to a person’s well-being, and affirm the capacity of all people to make moral decisions about their lives.
General Summary
CFC is seeking a motivated intern for the Organizing and Movement Building Department to support global engagement and organizing efforts aligned with our mission to promote reproductive rights. The intern will assist in our department's goal to strengthen global advocacy efforts to counter Catholic overreach and promote reproductive rights globally. Strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to work with diverse groups, and a commitment to inclusive, faith-based advocacy are essential for this role, which aims to establish CFC as a leading space for progressive, pro-choice Catholics.
The Catholics for Choice Internship program will run from June 3 to August 12, 2025.
Catholics for Choice is looking for individuals who are passionate about our mission. Please familiarize yourself with our messaging and programs before applying. If you do not fully support the pro-choice movement, this role is not suitable for you. We welcome applicants from different religions and secular backgrounds to apply, as we are all affected by the Catholic hierarchy’s religious overreach. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
