Summer 2025 Fellowships and Internships

Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) is accepting applications for Fellowships and Internships for Summer 2025. All positions are part-time, paid (10-20 hours per week, $25 per hour), and open to students and recent graduates in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Available positions:

• Climate Justice Organizing Fellows will build the grassroots movement for climate solutions through community outreach, events, and volunteer management. Locations: Norfolk, VA; Baltimore, MD; and Takoma Park, MD.
• The Diana Dascalu-Joffe Memorial Legal Fellowship is open to 2L, 3L, and recent law school graduates interested in advancing mitigation strategies that reduce near-term risks to communities and ecosystems. Location: Takoma Park, MD
• The DC Campaign Intern will advocate for climate solutions in the District of Columbia through a combination of community organizing and coalition building. Location: Takoma Park, MD.
• The Communication and Social Media Intern will use their writing skills to develop effective messages to educate and mobilize communities to take action for the climate. Location: Takoma Park, MD.

Internships and Fellowships at CCAN are hybrid positions, and applicants must live within reasonable driving distance of the listed location.
