    Position Overview:

    The Office Manager (OM) oversees and supports the administration of Power of Two’s operations across its Brooklyn and Bronx offices. The OM is instrumental in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. This role combines strategic operational oversight with direct support for program teams, ensuring seamless execution of organizational goals.

    As an experienced operations professional, the OM drives improvements in workplace management, supports team members, and coordinates operational protocols to enhance overall organizational performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operations and Facilities Management:

    • Plan, monitor, and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple office sites.
    • Ensure workplace health, safety, and regulatory compliance, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for staff.
    • Collaborate with IT consultants to ensure seamless network, voice, and data performance.
    • Manage procurement, develop inventory systems, and oversee program deliveries and supplies.

    Administrative Support and Coordination:

    • Attend meetings, document key takeaways, and track follow-ups, including identifying resource needs.
    • Maintain organized and accessible files of all program documentation.

    Team Support and Compliance:

    • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for team members.
    • Administer consultant contracts and support drafting grant agreements in collaboration with the finance team.
    • Revise and implement operational protocols to align with organizational priorities.

    Supervision and Research:

    • Supervise operations and program interns, providing guidance and mentoring.
    • Conduct research to identify resources supporting programmatic and operational functions.

    Skills:

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite
    • Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
    • Flexible and patient in fast-paced environments, with a proactive and self-starter attitude.
