The Interfaith Center of New York (ICNY) is a secular nonprofit organization founded in 1997
that works to overcome prejudice, violence, and misunderstanding by activating the power of
the city’s grassroots religious and civic leaders and their communities. Our community-based
programs build relationships of mutual respect and understanding among New York’s religious
and civic leaders by bringing them together to address shared social justice concerns. ICNY is
currently seeking a full-time Program Associate for Community Partnerships to play an
essential role in our community-based programs and help build and maintain relationships with
partners. She/he/they will combine faith-based or secular community organizing skills with
program planning ability. She/he/they will also have the communications, administrative, and
facilitation skills required to bring New Yorkers together across faith lines.
Salary will be commensurate with experience, in the range of $52,000 to $62,000 annually.

Core Responsibilities:
The Program Associate for Community Partnerships will work with ICNY colleagues to
envision, implement, publicize, and facilitate a range of programs and events including
conferences, workshops, advocacy opportunities, and an annual 8-month cohort-based civic
engagement training. In addition to their work on specific programs, she/he/they will engage
with diverse partners to identify emerging faith community needs and contribute to grant
proposals for program funding. She/he/they will convene and collaborate with civic officials,
scholars, activists, and diverse faith community leaders to catalyze change throughout New
York City. Specific tasks will include:
