    About Us

Anthos|Home is an innovative nonprofit transforming the way New York City residents with housing subsidies locate and secure stable housing. Modeled after Brilliant Corners in California, Anthos|Home streamlines the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes while addressing gaps in the NYC voucher housing system. We aim to be a game-changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness.

    The Role

Anthos|Home is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Tenant Coordination (VPTC) to oversee our referral, intake and outreach process, as well as oversee our efforts to help match participants who are in need of housing with appropriate apartments quickly and efficiently. Once a participant has been matched to housing, the VPTC will also be responsible for overseeing the complex process of ensuring that the paperwork required to receive voucher approval is completed quickly so that the approval can be secured within weeks.

The Vice President of Tenant Coordination will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of Tenant Coordination staff who guide households from referral intake through housing placement and connection to our Aftercare Team. The VPTC will be the lead in managing relationships with a wide array of external referral partners – including but not limited to our government partners and nonprofit organizations. This position requires a visionary leader who can create and refine processes, utilize data effectively, eliminate inefficiencies, and strengthen relationships to improve housing outcomes.

    • Manage referral outreach and intake to recruit potential participants, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit organizations, government partners, as well as property providers with a focus on supporting voucher holders.
    • Foster a culture of efficiency, adaptability, and mission-driven service.
    • Participate in Anthos|Home’s weekly leadership meetings, providing insights and recommendations for the Tenant Coordination team’s program development and organizational strategy.
    • Participate in an emergency on-call rotation and oversee incident reporting as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

    Tenant Matching + Housing Coordination

    • Oversee the implementation of referral assignment, matching of participants to units based on needs, unit viewings and scheduling, and the shepherding of apartment and voucher applications to approval.
    • Develop and implement data-driven tools to enhance participant matches, housing searches and streamline processes.
    • Collaborate with the Housing Team around our unit bank inventory to achieve organizational goals around quality and accessibility
    • Work with government agencies, property providers, and nonprofit organizations to leverage support services for referrals in the housing process.
    • Ensure smooth and efficient collaboration with our Operations Team around voucher package submissions, including paperwork gathering, income certification, and application compliance.

    Process Optimization & Compliance

    • Review and iteratively create policies, processes, and procedures, including but not limited to referral outreach and intake, unit matching, application and package processing, and the transition to aftercare.
    • Design and oversee Salesforce dashboards and reports to ensure that caseloads are efficiently managed.
    • Ensure team members are inputting data into Salesforce, working to ensure data quality alongside the Director of Data and Evaluation.
    • Create and refine referral outreach strategies to obtain referrals for voucher holders in need of housing.
    • Serve as a point of escalation to property providers, helping to resolve tenant-related unit viewing and application issues.
    • Respond to tenant-related emergencies, both during business hours and after-hours, for all those participants in the housing process.
