About the job:
WePlanet is looking to fill a new full time role of Digital Fundraising Specialist to help build our public supporter base. This role is specifically focused on online supporter fundraising and not focused on major donors or foundations.
We have an exciting opportunity to invest in increasing our supporter base and in raising more money and we need experienced specialists to help us.
The role will report to the Head of Digital and work as part of a team including colleagues specialising in branding and design, campaign creation, earned media and a new role focusing on Performance Marketing/Advertising.
As Digital Fundraising Manager, your tasks will be:
- Helping inform a twelve-month fundraising plan with clear quantitative targets
- Executing against that plan
- Developing and executing all supporter mailings
- Drafting engaging fundraising content informed by our communications guidelines.
- Testing fundraising content, producing analysis and quickly iterating to achieve our goals
- Gathering data and producing regular reports covering our conversion rates, costs of acquisition and return on investments
- Segmenting existing and new supporters and developing targeted approaches
- Keeping up to date with latest fundraising techniques and approaches and providing recommendations for new investments
About You.
- You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience under your belt, share our values and enjoy working in a startup environment.
- You support our values and are pragmatic, believe in science, data-led decision-making, proactive, curious, and impatient for change on climate, environment and development.
- You are excited about connecting people across geographies, finding ways to engage and inspire them to build a global community for change.
- You are passionate about going to where the people are, using digital mobilisation, engagement and fundraising strategies to build a community for action.
Key qualifications and experience:
- You have 3-5 years' of experience in digital fundraising
- You have a proven record of raising significant sums from online fundraising individually or as part of a team
- You have a track record of producing compelling copy for digital audiences, whether social media content, email communications, websites or blog posts. You feel comfortable using new technology, tech tools and platforms.
- Proven ability to turn ideas into actionable and measurable plans.
- Experience running AB tests to improve fundraising results.
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation
- Experience of work cross-culturally, accommodating differences in working styles and needs.
- You must be a native English speaker or C2+ and feel comfortable writing to a high standard.

- Salary Range: competitive relative to home market and depending on experience
- Working hours: Full-time position (40hrs/week);
- Location: Remote, with the ability and willingness to work closely with colleagues in an Eastern European Time Zone
