Puppy Water Ent. Foundation — a mission-driven nonprofit advancing equitable mental health access across California — is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media & Campaign Strategy Specialist to lead and manage our growing digital presence and community engagement initiatives.
We are building something transformative for communities across Northern and Southern California. This role is ideal for a bold and visionary social media professional who can manage large-scale digital campaigns, elevate our brand, and drive engagement across multiple audiences — including students, clients, professionals, and donors.
You will lead campaigns to:
• Attract graduate students in ABA, RBT, MFT, MSW, and Counseling programs to join us for their fieldwork and internship placements.
• Increase outreach and referrals for Medi-Cal clients seeking mental health therapy and case management services.
• Recruit talented behavioral health professionals and support staff to help scale our innovative mental health clinic.
• Inspire and engage private donors who believe in mental health equity and creative intervention models.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, manage, and optimize targeted social media campaigns across platforms (IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook).
• Build compelling visual and written content in alignment with our mission and audience.
• Track performance metrics and pivot campaigns based on engagement and impact.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure messaging remains mission-centered, inclusive, and high-impact.
• Oversee ad spend and maximize ROI within campaign budgets.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience creating and scaling successful social media campaigns (preferably for nonprofits, startups, or community-driven brands).
• Expertise in social media strategy, storytelling, content creation, and digital ads.
• Strong visual eye and proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, CapCut, etc.).
• Analytical thinker who understands metrics, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
• A passion for mental health, equity, and social justice.
Bonus if you have:
• Experience targeting Gen Z and Millennial audiences
• Familiarity with the California mental health or nonprofit ecosystem
• A background in public health, social work, or behavior analysis
Compensation: Competitive hourly or project-based rate (based on experience), with room for growth.
