The League of Young Inventors is a fast-growing edtech nonprofit dedicated to fostering curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills in young learners through hands-on, engineering-focused educational experiences. As a small but passionate team, we create invention curriculum units and kits for elementary school teachers, making science and invention accessible, fun, and deeply engaging for students.

We are at an exciting inflection point, currently impacting over 40,000 students across seventeen states—and we’re just getting started. We’re looking for a Program Manager who’s ready to be a pivotal part of this mission, driving programmatic excellence and helping us deliver a best-in-class experience to our school clients.

    Position Summary:

As Program Manager, you will be at the heart of the League’s growth and success, ensuring our programs make a meaningful impact on schools, teachers, and students. You’ll oversee and streamline internal processes, manage day-to-day operations and communications, and build strong relationships with existing school partners while helping grow our network. This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional written and verbal communication, and a collaborative teamwork orientation.

This is a unique opportunity to join an entrepreneurial environment where you can grow quickly, take on significant responsibilities, and directly impact a rapidly scaling organization. If you’re passionate about education and eager to be part of a movement that’s reshaping how kids experience STEM, this role is for you.

    Responsibilities:

    School Partnerships Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for The League’s school partners, ensuring exceptional partner experiences.
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with new school partners and develop relationships with key school stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Lead ongoing relationship management with school partners throughout the school year and summer.
    • Manage operational logistics with school partners, including invoicing, purchase orders, and kit delivery, to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
    • Design and implement customer data collection, communication, and revenue tracking systems to streamline operations and drive efficiency.

    Project Management:

    • Develop and manage project timelines to ensure the successful completion of initiatives, including kit fulfillment, assessment tools, revenue generation and program evaluations.
    • Coordinate daily with team members to track project progress, address challenges, and align efforts with strategic goals.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance team productivity and program effectiveness.

    Communications:

    • Support sales prospecting by communicating with schools, districts, and community organizations to expand our reach.
    • Develop project progress reports, status updates, and support materials for new projects, grant proposals or RFPs.
    • Create and manage a content calendar for social media channels to increase awareness, engage supporters, and amplify our mission.

    What We Need:

    • A self-starter mindset with a passion for innovation and a drive to contribute to a growing organization.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong relationship management skills and a proven ability to build and maintain professional partnerships.
    • Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to shifting priorities.
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with CRMs and project management tools is a plus.
    • Experience managing social media accounts and an understanding of how to leverage social media for marketing and engagement is a plus.

    Why Join Us:

    • Be part of a mission-driven organization at the forefront of national growth in edtech.
    • Shape the future of STEM education and make a direct impact on young learners across the country.
    • Grow your skills and career in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Collaborate with a passionate, supportive team that values creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving.

If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and play a pivotal role in transforming education, we want to hear from you!
