    About MBF

MBF is an abolitionist organization that posts bail so that people from oppressed communities can stay free while they work towards resolving their case, allowing individuals, families, and communities to stay productive, together, and stable. A person’s ability to address legal charges while in the community, rather than in jail, results in better case and life outcomes. MBF is committed to disrupting the racist & classist enforcement of cash bail by serving as a mechanism of release for people serving pre-trial sentences. We also support protest movements for justice and we work to abolish pre-trial detention and supervision in the long-term. More about us here.
