Position Summary
The Development and Communications Director is responsible for overseeing Bayview’s fundraising and communications strategy and implementation, including but not limited to donor relationship building/stewardship, corporate relations, grant writing, annual appeals, public awareness and fundraising/friendraising events, communications materials, as well as website and social media promotion. This position is part of Bayview’s senior leadership team and contributes to setting the goals and vision for the organization. Prior experience in fundraising and communications work is required, with an emphasis on strong communication, relationship building, writing/storytelling and administrative skills.
Hours and Compensation
The Development Director is a full time position, 40 hrs/week, with an annual salary of $70,000-75,000 depending upon experience. Eligible for medical and dental benefits. Accrued PTO (sick, vacation, personal days) and holidays. Optional 403b retirement plan with a generous match of up to 6%.
