    ABOUT CODE2COLLEGE

Established in 2016, is a Texas-based STEM equity and workforce development nonprofit with a mission to dramatically increase the number of minority and low-income high school students who enter and excel in STEM undergraduate majors and careers. By 2030, Code2College endeavors to make high school internships in the Tech industry standard. Through its scaled model, Code2College aims to place 2,000 high school students into paid Tech internships in 2026 alone, setting them on a life-changing trajectory in STEM fields.

To achieve this, Code2College is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Vice President of Growth to lead our expansion, cultivate strategic partnerships, and secure transformational opportunities for the next generation of diverse technical talent.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a brand-new role that offers an extraordinary chance to build and scale a growth strategy that will shape the future of Code2College. As Vice President, Growth, you will be the key driver of internship and corporate partnership initiatives, working alongside the CEO to engage tech companies, foster investment in our mission, and create a sustainable foundation for expansion. This role requires a mission-driven leader with both strategic vision and strong execution skills, capable of developing a high-performing team and ensuring measurable impact.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategic Leadership & Organizational Growth

    • Serving as a senior leader in the organization, you will provide leadership, thought partnership, and support to ensure the success of Code2College.
    • Define and implement strategic priorities in collaboration with the President/CEO and Board of Directors effectively communicating the business development vision, strategy and progress.
    • Build a national awareness strategy for the organization, starting with key markets like Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth.
    • Establish and launch a Regional Advisory Board with consistent stakeholder meeting cadence (monthly) in NYC, Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Denver, and two additional metros.
    • Support organizational growth by building Director-level reports to oversee direct management of the Growth Team while ensuring long-term sustainability and leadership continuity.

    Revenue Generation & Financial Sustainability

    • Drive revenue growth, ensuring the GrowthTeam secures $125K per month in recurring revenue.
    • Develop a sustainable financial model to support long-term program expansion and impact.
    • Build and implement a diversified revenue strategy, incorporating corporate sponsorships, philanthropic contributions, and earned revenue opportunities.

    Business Development & Partnerships

    • Expand and grow the organization's employer network by cultivating relationships with national and regional companies, workforce development agencies, and educational institutions.
    • Grow the volume of internship placements ensuring targets to secure 200 internship placements by Summer 2025 and scale to 2,000 by Summer 2026 are met.
    • Onboard at least 1,000 Small- or Medium Businesses (SMBs) onto the hiring platform within the first 6 months.
    • Hire and develop a Director of Partnerships to lead partnership acquisition and relationship management.

    Team Development & Operational Excellence

    • Successfully support the Director of Growth to fully manage the Growth team within the first year.
    • Wort with, coach and empower the Growth Team to operate independently for at least 80% of their daily work.
    • Establish a high-performance culture through leadership coaching, clear goal-setting, and professional development initiatives.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • You are proactive with the innate ability to anticipate and resolve an executive’s needs, even before they are aware of them.
    • You have a knack for communication and can effectively speak on an executive’s behalf with a variety of stakeholders to resolve matters quickly and professionally.
    • You lead with inquiry and curiosity. You take the time to build context and understand “the why” of the work.
    • You thrive in ambiguity, and you create your own clarity by asking critical questions to get the information you need.
    • You prioritize outcomes over inputs and “why” over “what.” You are driven by goals and data, and you see outcomes as your north star. You consistently align yourself to the “why” of the work to determine the how and the what.
    • You are solutions-oriented. You look for the root cause and move others toward solutions through innovative problem solving. You know how to identify pain points and improve on work, while honoring the work of those before you.
    • You are culturally competent. You have worked with underrepresented communities and you have a history of effectively working across lines of difference. Your actions reflect that you are deeply committed to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
