Reporting Relationships: The Program Director report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Position Summary: This position is responsible for managing a comprehensive residential program of services for victims of domestic violence, including 24-hour resident care, social services, case management, physical plant maintenance, an on-site pre-school day care program, permanent housing assistance and regulatory requirement compliance.
Nature and Scope: This position requires keen analysis of complex issues, often involving a large entrenched and service resistant, multi-problem population and creative and constructive responses through the collaboration of several program divisions and public and private agencies to maximize sometimes inadequate or scare resources. An individual family may be faced with all the following problems: inadequate income, no permanent home, single parent, medical neglect, education failure, under parenting, poor nutrition, substance abuse, history of sexual abuse or domestic violence, unemployment, and mental health problems. Managing a comprehensive response to such a situation requires excellent analytical, evaluative and human service management skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the COO, Program Directors are expected to perform the following principal duties and responsibilities.
Minimal Qualifications
Degree Requirements: M.S.W., MPA or related advance degree as well as experience with multi-problem families is desirable
Minimum of at least four (4) to eight (8) years of human services experience
At least two (2) - four (4) years of managerial and supervisory experience with demonstrated professional progression in the area of supervision and program management.
Knowledge of people and residential facilities’ management, comprehensive social services for families, program development and administration and interdisciplinary team building- required

The base salary compensation being offered for this role is between $90,918 to $95,918.
