Our programs include: The Internship Program, which provides paid, mentored internships and career development workshops to students, ages 16 to 19 years old; Career Essentials, our hands-on career-readiness and career exploration program that provides opportunities for students to practice and improve their interpersonal, communication, and other relevant work-related skills; The Externship Experience, a career exploration and skill-building program focused on growing industries; the College Guidance Initiative, which helps students navigate the college application and selection process; and Alumni Engagement Programming, which provides continued work-readiness, mentoring, career exploration, and networking opportunities to alumni as they navigate their way through school and plan for future careers.
Position Summary:Futures and Options is seeking a highly capable, dedicated, and detail-oriented Temporary HR Assistant to support our HR team as we on-board and process payroll for hundreds of high school students who participate in our summer internship program. This is a seasonal position, starting in March/April and concluding in August.
The Temporary HR Assistant will focus on supporting intern onboarding and payroll tasks, including:
The Temporary HR Assistant must be available for training beginning in late March / early April for between 2 and 4 hours per work day (10-20 hours per week), and then be available for 4 hours per work day from May thru August (20 hours per week). This is a hybrid position, with some office time required for in-person intern on-boarding activities.

Salary range is $25-$30/hour commensurate with experience.
