    ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP PLUS

    In addition to a scholarship, Scholarship Plus offers individualized advising, and career readiness throughout college so that scholars graduate debt-free and on time.

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Program Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this part-time, fully remote role, you will provide crucial administrative support across multiple divisions of the organization, including operational, program, and scholar support. As a key member of our team, you will help manage day-to-day tasks, assist with events and communications, and ensure smooth operations to support both our scholars and alumni. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education, equity, and supporting the success of underserved students.

    This position is NYC-based. While work will be remote, there are in-person events a few times a year that will also be NYC-based. Applicants will need to live in the New York Tri-state area.

    • Work independently, efficiently with go-getter attitude, and highly responsive within agreed-upon hours
    • Proactive and keen to tackle new projects and apply organizational systems
    • Administrative experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong time management and organization skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of Google Suite (Google Sheets, Doc, Forms, etc.) Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, Notion
    • Comfortable and interested in learning new technologies (e.g. WizeHive, Bloomerang, Stripe, etc.)
    • Flexibility and desire to work as part of a small team and growing organization
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or current college student with relevant experience in program management, education, or nonprofit work.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide administrative support across SPlus divisions: operational, program, and scholar support.

    Program

    • Communicate through email with scholars regarding semester updates, transcripts, expense receipts, onboarding documentation
    • Process stipends for scholars
    • Assist with maintenance and creation of spreadsheets/databases to manage internal and external systems

    Communication

    • Send weekly resource email to students
    • Send students emails and text messages about programmatic requirements, updates and reminders
    • Assist with creating the Annual Report

    Events

    • Assist with the planning and execution of annual events
    • Create, send, and track of event and workshop invitations and support the planning and execution of events

    Development

    • Entering donor/gift information to donor database (Bloomerang)
    • Help set up and run customized donor reports (Bloomerang)
    • Write and send acknowledgment letters to donors via email or mail
