    What We’re Looking For:

    FoodCorps seeks a Training and Content Coordinator to play a vital project manager support role on the Training and Content Team. We are looking for a highly organized, tech savvy, and systems-oriented individual who takes initiative and lives into problem solving by being solutions-oriented. The Coordinator will collaborate across teams to ensure the success of training and program development initiatives. The daily responsibilities of this role range from event coordination and travel booking to organizing program resources and pilots. The Coordinator will collaborate with members of the team to co-develop detailed timelines, project mapping and metrics tracking for projects. They will support budget tracking and timely invoice submissions following events and trainings. The Training and Content Coordinator will report to the Senior Director of Training and Content. This is a full-time remote position. Travel 5-7 times per year is required.

You are highly organized and efficient, with experience in roles where you have supported complex projects and simultaneously managed multiple workflows. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can share information in a clear and detailed manner to a wide variety of audiences. You enjoy researching and event planning independently and in collaboration with others both in person and remotely. You are tech savvy or are willing to learn to navigate the creation of Excel spreadsheets, Google docs, Zoom, and interactive learning platforms. You are a team player who is self-aware of their strengths and areas for growth. You seek out feedback and approach all that you do with a growth mindset.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provides holistic support to the team to achieve goals and deliverables for service member training and program development, including managing the internal and external team calendar.
    • Applies national frameworks and best practices for the following areas of work:
      • Supports vetting of and engagement with external facilitators.
      • Reviews existing FoodCorps programmatic resources and content.
      • Coordinates and communicates with FoodCorps staff offering trainings.
    • Reviews, revises, and co-creates team systems and training resources internally & externally.
    • Collaborates with the evaluation team to support evaluation of training experiences.
    • Event planning logistics & coordination. This includes but is not limited to transportation logistics, menu development, lodging assignments and on site event coordination support.
    • Supports ongoing budget tracking and timely invoice submissions.
    • Provides tech support for virtual trainings, webinars and panel discussions.
    • Participation in monthly departmental meetings and weekly team meetings.
    • Develops slides and/or co-creates slides for internal and external meetings and training that effectively communicate detailed information & updates, including sharing data to inform our work.
    • Supports effective planning and execution of all corps member trainings through research, communication, and implementation related to venue, menu planning, tech, and external trainers.
    • Assists with trainings by supporting facilitation, tech needs, and the use of aligned resources
    • Applies best practices for creating intentionally comprehensive and positive learning environments when supporting event planning.
    • Arranges site visits for the team and supports the planning of team retreats.

    Measures of Success:

    By the end of year 1, the Training and Content Coordinator will have:

    • Provided vital project management support for the successful implementation of FoodCorps’ virtual National Orientation, virtual Learning Community spaces, Purposeful-Yearly gathering -including research of venues, travel coordination, management of contracts and invoices, communication of expectations with Corps Members and staff, resource procurement and distribution, tech support, and other logistics.
    • Managed, updated, organized and disseminated all components of the Training Library in partnership with the Manager of Training and Content to support the implementation of training scope and sequence.
    • Provided support with scheduling, logistics, planning, and tech support for the series of monthly virtual learning community trainings, including collection and analysis of feedback.
    • Ensured all virtual and in-person events were accessible by updating and applying a safety and accessibility checklist.
    • Submitted individual monthly Concur expense reports in a timely manner and maintained an accurate team budget.
    • Participated in 4 site visits throughout the year, intentionally gathering input from and actively learning about their experiences in order to inform training and program development work.
