    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are seeking an experienced, talented and motivated Web Stack Developer with strong proficiency in modern web frameworks, and a keen eye for UI/UX design. A solid team player, you will collaborate and develop in maintaining and creating customer-facing cloud hosted web solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design, implementation, and support of solutions based on business needs and under architectural guidance, ensuring quality and reliability of the coded solution.

    Reporting to the IT Director, the ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, is detail oriented, and possesses the ability to work in a highly collaborative, small-sized team environment.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Web Stack Development:

    • Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly and responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
    • Apply experience and strong UI/UX skills in creating an overall rich and intuitive end user experience, including asynchronous interactions
    • Build Html Templates with Markup for Server-Side Dynamic Web Page or Component creation
    • Integrate Web Applications with APIs and Cloud (Azure) Services with a focus on Maintainability, Scalability and Performance.
    • Integrate with JavaScript client libraries for Azure and Microsoft Services along with Power Platform services such as Power BI
    • Work with architecture team on strategy for retrofitting and refactoring server server-side logic into JavaScript client libraries, with exposure to using backend technologies like Razor/C#, Node.js, PHP, or Python.
    • Test, debug, and optimize web applications to ensure compatibility across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices.
    • Ensure web applications can be localized, and follow accessibility guidelines
    • Utilize version control in GitHub to manage code and collaborate with other team members through branching, push/pulls and code reviews, and use of markdown for documentation
    • Work with QA and internal resources to improve consistent testability of web applications.
    • Quick proof of concept of mockups of UI/UX as required to communicate and verify concepts.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, architects, business analysts, and business owners to understand the business and their requirements, review specifications, and provide front end UI/UX implementation and integration with backend services.
    • Participate in understanding and taking ownership of code assets, assisting with refactoring and continuous improvement opportunities
    • Other duties, as assigned, in support of the organization’s IT development practices and initiatives.
    • Participate in retrospectives and help with initiatives for continuous improvement of processes

    Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

    IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology AND 3+ years of hands-on development experience as a Web Developer in a Team environment with hands-on experience in development of web solutions OR
    • 7+ years of equivalent work experience as a Full Stack Web Developer in a Team environment.
    • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap).
    • Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g. Node.js, Python, PHP) and RESTful APIs.
    • Experience in modern IDEs ideally Visual Studio or VS Code.
    • Strong understanding of Agile development methodology, Microsoft DevOps experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with cloud architecture (Microsoft Business Dynamics ERP/CRM experience a plus).
    • General experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and practices preferred.
    • Interested in and able to flourish in a mission-based organization where culture and values are paramount in importance.

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

    • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap)
    • Experience in modern IDEs ideally Visual Studio or VS Code.
    • Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks (e.g React, Vue.js, Angular)
    • Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g Node.js, Python, PHP) and RESTful APIs
    • Familiarity with JSONForms for building customizable form interfaces based on JSON schema
    • Understanding or Experience with Microsoft Web Technologies including Blazor
    • Understanding of Accessibility and Localization in Web UIs
    • Understanding of Identify Management Services (Auth0, Azure AD B2C) for application authentication and authorization
    • Experience with AI Tools to increase developer productivity is preferred
    • Experience with package managers such as npm or NuGet
    • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes
    • Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum rituals; experience working in a hybrid agile environment a plus.
    • Understanding of Power BI dashboard is a plus
    • Understanding of Liquid Templates is a plus
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
    • Experience regularly grasping business concepts quickly; general understanding of recycling industry is a plus (but not required).

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • This position is remote-based within the United States. Candidates must be able to work from a U.S.-based location and be eligible to work lawfully in the United States for Call2Recycle.
    • Limited travel (estimated 3-4 times per year) as needed. Travel could include, but not be limited to, attending conferences, customer meetings, or team/organization-wide meetings. Call2Recycle’s corporate office is in Marietta, GA; this position does not need to be based there.
    • The work hours, Monday - Friday, are 8 hours per day. The position may require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during peak periods. Our approach to schedules is to focus more on the quality and timeliness of the work being done.
