Legal Assistant – Eviction Prevention Unit – Spokane

NJP secures justice for people in or near poverty through high quality legal advocacy that promotes the long-term well-being of low-income individuals, families, and communities through legal representation, community partnerships, education, and other advocacy.

NJP’s Eviction Prevention Unit seeks a full-time experienced Legal Assistant based in Spokane to support our fast-paced eviction defense practice. This position is part of the statewide Eviction Prevention Unit (EPU) and reports to the EPU Eastern Region Managing Attorney. The primary practice area is housing but may include family law, consumer, public benefits, and other areas of civil legal assistance that NJP provides.
