Project Place seeks a full-time Philanthropy Coordinator to join our Philanthropy team. As Philanthropy Coordinator, you will play a key role in the success of Project Place’s year-round fundraising efforts, with a particular focus on coordinating Climb for a Cause, Project Place’s annual fundraiser at Fenway Park.
In your role, you will support and participate in larger philanthropy team activities, including fundraising appeals and donor cultivation, outreach, and stewardship. You will also manage and execute Project Place’s communications, including social media, newsletters, and client story development, with the opportunity to expand and innovate communication strategies. You will be a great fit if you’re nimble and motivated, with an aptitude for project management and a keen ability to communicate effectively, set and meet deadlines, and follow up effectively with partners. This role is a great opportunity for an early career individual to gain experience in the broader work of nonprofit philanthropy while being part of an established and impactful organization making a real difference in the lives of Bostonians experiencing homelessness and poverty.
At Project Place, we are committed to being a safe, inclusive workplace where everyone from all backgrounds can thrive. If you are from a marginalized or underrepresented group, we strongly encourage you to apply. We know that job descriptions can be detailed and sometimes overwhelming, but please do not be discouraged if you do not meet every requirement—there is no such thing as a “perfect” candidate. We value unique perspectives and experiences, and we are eager to find someone who is excited about this role and ready to grow with us. Apply today; we would love to hear from you!
