    Description

    (Note - we are open to applicants in any timezone within 4 hours of UTC. We can hire in most countries, but can't normally sponsor visas)

    Prevail Fund is building a recruitment operation that will serve both our team and our partners across the Global South. We're a 20-person team planning to roughly double in size over the next two years, and we’re also going to help our partners build the teams they need to achieve impact at scale.

    This is a fantastic and unique opportunity for an exceptional recruiter to drive hiring and help build a gold-standard TA function from the ground up. If you're excited about finding exceptional talent to drive ambitious social change, we'd love to hear from you.

    About Prevail Fund

    Prevail is a new organization that helps field implementers and philanthropists pursue ambitious social change. We’ll launch our website later this year, and you can find more information about us here.

    Our first major initiative is in global education: nine out of ten children in Africa can't read a simple paragraph by age 10. We're deploying $1B to improve instruction in government schools for 25 million kids across 10 countries.

    In our first two years, we've:

    • Secured our ambitious fundraising target
    • Partnered with 15 organizations across South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa
    • Hired 20+ mission-driven team members globally
    • Ran 12 execution projects to strengthen key functions for our partners.

    Now we’re ready to scale, and that’s where you come in.

    The role

    You'll drive hiring for Prevail and our partners. We’re looking for an excellent operator, who is also interested in strategy and helping to build effective recruitment processes.

    We obsess about two things: finding world-class diverse talent and delivering consistently excellent candidate experiences. We're already hitting a high bar, and now we want to scale up internally and as a service for our partners.

    Working with George, Head of People and our wonderful external recruitment partners, you will;

    • Source top talent: design and execute sourcing strategies to identify and attract exceptional candidates globally.
    • Lead full-cycle recruitment with a focus on delivering consistently excellent candidate experiences. We really care about rapid and personalised responses, clear timelines, and thoughtful feedback.
    • Support partners with their recruitment needs from directly helping fill roles to identifying bottlenecks and suggesting improvements
    • Help build our infrastructure. You’ll track key metrics, improve processes, and help implement tools that scale. You'll spot opportunities for improvement and suggest practical solutions.

    About you

    You’ll thrive in fast-pace environments and bring;

    • Talent Acquisition Expertise: 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment with a track record of success in finding and attracting talent. Former operations or service industry background is a plus.
    • Operational Excellence: You’re organized, systematic, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You probably enjoy a zero inbox at the end of every day.
    • Problem Solving Mindset: You proactively find ways to achieve the goal, and don’t wait for other people to solve problems. You spot opportunities for improvement and make practical operational changes.
    • Effective Communicator: You write clearly and succinctly. You’re a great listener, connect easily with people and can be an ambassador for Prevail.
    • Service-Oriented: You care deeply about the experience of every candidate and hiring manager.
    • Growth Mindset: You’re open to feedback, learn quickly, and adapt to new challenges.

    Why you’ll love working at Prevail.

    • Drive real impact: Your work will directly enable large-scale social change. This role is unique in that you’ll be finding great talent for Prevail, but also for our incredible partners in the global south.
    • Build something meaningful: Help build a recruitment function that will impact millions of lives.
    • Join a supportive, world class team: We’re a team of professionals who have successfully scaled operations across the world. Work with colleagues who value humility, ownership, and collaboration.
    • Professional Growth: We invest in your development through regular feedback, career progression frameworks, and a learning budget.
    • Flexibility: Work remotely from anywhere within four hours of CET, with opportunities to travel and connect in person.

    What we offer

    • Fully remote position, with opportunity to travel 2-4 times per year.
    • Full time, permanent contract.
    • Competitive salary based on experience, skills and location. We share salary bands before the informational call; final offers are based on interview performance.
    • Meaningful benefits: Health insurance and wellness benefits, home workspace or coworking stipend, generous L&D budget.
    • Growth opportunities: We deeply care about investing in our team’s professional development. You’ll receive strong manager support, targeted feedback, performance support, clear pay progression, upwards or lateral mobility.
    • Flexible leave policy: Including 25 days PTO plus public holidays

    Location & start date

    This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be based within four hours of CET and legally eligible to work in their country. We’re particularly interested in candidates from the Global South. Preferred start date: as soon as possible.

    Application process: Our hiring process is fairly thorough. Successful candidates will go through;

    • 30-45 minute initial conversation
    • Case study (~5-6 hours)
    • Hiring manager interview (45-60 minutes)
    • Panel interview (90 minutes) and 1on1s to meet others in the team.
