    About Community Homes

Community Homes (CH) is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based housing for individuals with developmental disabilities in East King County. Our adult family homes and shared living environments enable residents to live rich, full lives with live-in caregivers' support. Currently, we serve 49 residents across 11 neighborhood homes, offering ongoing services and support to residents, caregivers, and families.

Our mission extends beyond housing stability, fostering long-term success and independence through active community participation. Many residents have called our homes their own for over 15 years, benefiting from our supportive framework. By engaging internally, working or volunteering, and participating in the greater community, our residents experience greater self-fulfillment and independence.

We are experiencing an exciting period of growth and are expanding our team to achieve ambitious fundraising goals aligned with our strategic vision. A recently completed development assessment has led to a four-year plan supported by staff, the Board of Directors, and donors.
