Position Summary
The Managing Director, People & Resources, joins EBASE at an exciting time for our organization. With the release of EBASE's long-term agenda for a thriving East Bay, we are poised to expand and deepen our impact in the region by scaling up work to build people power, develop strategic alliances and win campaigns that create dignified work, affordable and abundant housing and thriving communities. For the position of Managing Director, People & Resources, EBASE seeks an experienced, collaborative organizational leader committed to enhancing and strengthening the team, capacity and infrastructure of EBASE in pursuit of our Long-Term Agenda. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong track record in supervision & leadership development, who can oversee and integrate systems that implement organizational policies and that track and deploy resources. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Managing Director, People & Resources is responsible for overseeing finance, HR, operations, and communications, all of which serve as critical backbone to EBASE's impact and success. This position is shared with East Bay Action and will take on tasks for EBA as assigned.
