Our AmeriCorps Members engage in a year of service at schools and community organizations, fostering skill development, emotional growth, and meaningful community engagement.

Summary

As a Student Success Coach at BAYAC AmeriCorps, you will play a vital role in guiding youth towards successful career paths. Positions to fill in the San Francisco Bay Area, East Bay and North Bay and focuses on providing mentorship, educational resources, and support to help young individuals develop essential skills for their future.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to youth on career exploration and development.
• Facilitate workshops and group sessions focused on resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search strategies.
• Analyze individual needs to create personalized action plans for career advancement.
• Collaborate with local organizations to connect youth with internship and job opportunities.
• Utilize public speaking skills to present career-related information effectively.
• Educate participants about various career paths and the skills required for success.
