    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Completes daily documentation as assigned: such as case notes, weekly schedules,

    medication documentation (as needed), mileage logs, expense logs, etc.

    • Transports and accompanies consumers to recreational outings (i.e., movies, musicals,

    parks) and medical appointments using the agency van.

    • Under the guidance of the Program Director or Manger, handles consumer stipends/

    funds in accordance with My Day Program’s policy and procedures.

    • Demonstrates a respectful attitude toward the consumers and allows them to have as much independence as their potential allows.
    • Attends meetings as directed by the Program Director.
    • Supports the agency’s core values, mission, and vision.
    • Works collaboratively with co-workers and consumers
    • Always maintains the highest professional and ethical standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must pass a DOJ/FBI criminal background clearance to obtain/maintain employment
    • High school diploma or GED is required. AA/AS degree is highly preferred.
    • 1-2 years of experience working with the developmentally disabled, preferred.
    • Valid CA driver’s license and must pass driving record acceptable to MLF’s insurance carrier
    • Must have current CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of employment)
    • Must have current agency medication certification (or obtain within 30 days ofemployment)
    • Computer skills with MS Office, G-Suite or TherApp is a plus
    • Must have reliable transportation to travel daily (Monday-Friday)
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
