THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Human Resources (HR) Specialist reports to the WSOSF Executive Director and is a member of the Operations team. The top accountabilities for this role are to: 1) provide administrative support for the employee hiring, onboarding, and exiting processes; 2) administer and maintain the organization’s HRIS, BambooHR; 3) oversee employee benefits and payroll; 4) support with staff HR needs (e.g., process reasonable accommodation requests, provide conflict resolution support, support leave requests); and 5) collaborate with the Finance team on accounts payable and benefits/payroll activities.
The main WSOS office is in Seattle’s Mt. Baker neighborhood. This is a hybrid role required to be located within Washington state with as-needed time in the office determined in collaboration with their supervisor.
