The Program and Events Manager is a critical part of the Highline Schools Foundation (HSF) team and reports to the Executive Director. This person provides critical logistical and project management leadership for all foundation programs and events, and supervises a part time Volunteer Coordinator. They should be exceptionally detail oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven small office environment where juggling multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines is the norm. Required Skills and Experience
Education: Project management and non-profit fundraising and program work experience required.
Experience: Three or more years work in a non-profit environment. Experience planning successful fundraising or community events and managing people and relationships with a focus on customer service and diplomacy. Experience with database systems required. Ability to speak and write in Spanish highly desired.
Skills:
Working Conditions: Must pass criminal background check. Must have valid driver’s license and dedicated transportation available for meetings and duties. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as job requires loading and unloading supplies for events and other activities. Some evening and weekend hours required. Based at Highline Schools Foundation’s Burien office with some flexibility for hybrid work.
