Clinical Supervision:
Clinical Supervision is available for MSW team members towards accessing licensure, after they have received their required permit. All hours received during weekly supervision can be counted towards the applicant’s requirements for licensure.

About the Program
Graham Windham’s Intensive Prevention Program combines the Solution-Based Casework (SBC) method and the evidence-based Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) modality to promote child safety and well-being, reduce risks to children and youth, and prevent foster care placement.
About the Position
The Program Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision to Unit Case Planners in the implementing of the Goals and Objectives of the cases and to ensure responsive action is taken for clients needs, accurate and prompt communication with other agencies and regulatory bodies: provides first line response to clients in the case of emergencies, and provide direct casework as required; maintains a current understanding of regulatory requirements and agency polices and ensures compliance and a good standard of performance for assigned staff. The BSFT model is a brief family intervention for children and youth with serious behavior problems and/or drug use. The BSFT intervention works well for families with poor behavior management and problematic relationships. The intervention identifies patterns of family interaction and improves them to restore effective parental leadership and involvement with the youth. BSFT also seeks to reduce drug use and delinquency in youth. BSFT therapists meet weekly with families and work with all family members. The BSFT Admin Supervisor will assume the ACS Administrative Supervisory role and responsibilities.
The Admin Supervisor can transit to the role of the BSFT supervisor if they possess the License required and meet the clinical model specific proficiency required as assessed by the BSFT model Supervisor. See details below.
The BSFT supervisor (LMSW or LCSW) provides leadership to the BSFT team and sustain fidelity BSFT at that program for the long term. Implementing an evidence-based model like BSFT in a community setting requires a BSFT Supervisor with a pioneering spirit, and who is resilient and flexible. The individual should be confident about the model and its effectiveness, energizing and motivating the team towards competence in the BSFT intervention. In order to transition to the BSFT Supervisory role, the Admin Supervisor will need to carry up to three cases to build necessary clinical skills for BSFT. BSFT Supervisor must also have the ability to role model excellent BSFT practice skills for the therapists via recorded sessions with families.
The BSFT Supervisor must be fully committed to providing family therapy services. Moreover, they must believe in the efficacy of family therapy and have conceptual mastery of BSFT theory and practice. A relational rather than an individual focus must guide all their thinking and behavior in therapy and supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Administrative Program Supervisor will attend agency meetings in the absence of the Program Director. To work with the Program Director in making outreach to outside community agencies, establishing effective communication with ACS, and providing direction to all of the staff members. To participate in activities sponsored by the agency and that are of benefit to families in the program.
