Lead Teacher

We value and focus on the highest quality of education for every child enrolled at our center. The lead teacher will work with the Administrative and Educational Directors along with the Assistant teachers to ensure that all educational objectives are met in a safe, stimulating, and state-of-the-art environmental setting. The Lead teacher must at a minimum have a high school diploma and college with early childhood education training and MUST have previous teaching experience within an early learn/head start and or certified daycare/ educational center. Lead teacher must have an active study plan in early childhood education with the goal of acquiring certification in early childhood education. Must be a high-energy individual and be able to demonstrate the delivery and understanding of early childhood development educational techniques. Must be a flexible team player and have the ability to follow directions and to interact with children in a nurturing, appropriate and positive manner. Requirement of clearance from the Department of Investigation, SCR Statewide Central Register Database Check and current medical are necessary.

A Lead Teacher must possess effective communication skills and the ability to offer innovative educational support to all teaching staff. Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous, given our bilingual educational setting.
