    The O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University Law Center is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Center for Health and Human Rights.

    This position will report to the Director of the Center for Health and Human Rights. The Program Coordinator will help manage center projects, event and resources, and will collaborate daily with center, institute and university staff, as well as partners from around the globe.

    The Program Coordinator will work out of the O’Neill Institute’s offices on the Georgetown University Law Center campus in Washington, D.C, and receive a competitive salary, outstanding benefits, and terrific colleagues.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Maintain administrative processes, memos, and other associated center materials
    • Manage event and meeting logistics for center’s year-round, domestic and international programming
    • Organize travel for center team members, as well as reimbursements for travel
    • Provide administrative and communications support for conferences, webinars, conference calls and other events
    • Manage center contacts management, project management, and storage software
    • In coordination with the Communications Team, disseminate center work products and identify new opportunities for more effectively publicizing center expertise
    • Support work to ensure payments to centers suppliers, sub-grantees, and consultants. Work as a main contact in administrative matters for external partners from around the world
    • Support the team in documenting and reporting on the work of the centers to funders and partners.
    • Conduct limited desk research and other programmatic tasks as needed. Track relevant research funding opportunities as necessary

    Who Are We Looking For?

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with modest supervision
    • B.A. or B.S. One to two years of project, program or office management experience, full or part-time
    • Professionalism and flexibility amid competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-need and results-driven environment
    • Proven ability to manage calendars and handle complex scheduling instructions and responsibilities. Ability to work with team members in-person and remotely, as well as to work independently and as part of a team
    • Demonstrated personal initiative and entrepreneurial attitude. Excellent writing and analytical skills
    • Ability and interest in to traveling domestically and overseas
    • Interest in law and policy
    • Bilingual candidate preferred (English and Spanish)
