    What we’re looking for:

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to organizational culture, growth, and stability that manifests itself in an eagerness to learn new processes, adapt to new tools, and have a “roll up your sleeves and get started” approach to every task, small and large. A successful Operations Specialist will be a detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication skills who works independently across teams to support interdepartmental operations, identify inefficiencies, and offer solutions. Ideally, we are looking for someone who:

    • Demonstrates excellent time management skills
    • Takes a methodical approach to problem solving
    • Adapts to last minute challenges and changes in workflow
    • Plans forward with enthusiasm
    • Willingly learns and uses new technology
    • Is proficient working in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, and has experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, Adobe, iMovie, and Time-keeping and Project Management apps
    • Has a post-secondary degree or equivalent job experience

    What you´ll do at the Danielson Group:

    At the Danielson Group, you will work in a team setting where an open and collaborative culture will allow you to contribute from your first day. As a Program and Operations Specialist you will report to the Director of Learning Design and Development and work across teams to support personnel who develop and deliver our programs, design our products and services, and provide a range of client, reporting, and accounting services. Operations personnel are responsible for the stability of the organization’s infrastructure and systems, so some ongoing projects will be assigned. You will work remotely and independently within the project parameters and production schedules defined for you. In time, you will define project parameters and workflow schedules that other team members will be expected to follow with your guidance. This is a position that requires on time completion of scheduled activities, performed on a constant basis, (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly). It requires a high level of integrity and discretion in handling secure and confidential information. Among other things, you will:

    • Provide support to the Executive Director
      • Organize virtual and face to face meetings of the Board of Directors Attend meetings and produce minutes
      • Manage Executive Director's calendar as needed
      • Organize internal meetings and retreats
    • Provide Program support
      • Perform data entry, data maintenance, and reporting in the org's customer database (Salesforce)
      • Plan educational institutes and provide on-site support
      • Manage communications related to participants in the org's federal study (PLEDGE)
    • Provide Marketing and Development support
      • Video editing
      • Social media projects including the management of LinkedIn accounts for executive level personnel
      • Assist in proposal production
      • Assist is planning events and conferences
    • Provide Finance and Operations support
      • Assist in invoicing and collections on past due accounts
      • Oversee the org's IP licensing reporting program (obtain and confirm integrity of reports from clients, create and send royalty invoices)
      • Review expense reports, liaise with personnel to make necessary corrections and affect reimbursements
      • Organize and perform desktop support and security for the org's shared computer drives (Google Workspace), and it’s principal databases, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Talent Learning Management System
    • Special projects as assigned

    Hiring process

    The successful candidate will agree to submit to a criminal background check and verification of employment process. References must include direct supervisors.

    Compensation

    Salary for this position is 65,000.00 plus health benefits and 401K contribution. The Danielson Group has a self-managed PTO policy that includes a week-long paid winter break.
