POSITION SUMMARY:
The Instructional Coach supports family childcare educators’ efforts to continuously improve the quality of their programs and to create the best experiences for children. Coaches partner with San Francisco Quality Connections to provide a framework, standards, and quality improvement supports for early learning programs across the city. They support programs via an array of services, including individualized coaching, training, facilitated peer support and small group learning, establishing defined quality improvement goals linked to each provider’s unique vision for their program. In addition, they contribute to the development of new resources and support approaches, combining their knowledge of early childhood education and adult learning.

The Instructional Coach’s core responsibilities are to work in collaboration with our FCC Incubator team and partner agency coaches to build the capacity of FCC educators in developing specific skills and implementing practices that will ultimately lead to positive outcomes for children in their care.

All staff are required to be fully vaccinated (barring application for medical or religious exemptions). Wearing masks in the office is optional for our staff.
Hybrid Work
This position is 100% remote as the nature of the role requires you to travel within San Francisco communities, working some evenings and weekends as needed. You will need to come into the office 1-day a month. All applicants should be comfortable with both the remote and in office scenarios.
