The Position: The Safe House Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and operations of SAVE’s
safe house and ensuring the implementation of program services. The manager provides supervision of the safe house
staff (including recruiting, hiring, and training), ensures compliance with contract requirements, and is responsible for
maintaining a safe and trauma-informed environment for the residents and staff.
The Ideal Candidate: Strong candidates for this position will demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, crisis
services environment. The right candidate will have previous experience in a residential setting in a management capacity
and demonstrate an understanding of the challenges faced by intimate partner violence survivors experiencing
homelessness and an understanding of a client-centered, trauma-informed approach to working with them.
The candidate must be able to juggle multiple tasks and demonstrate skill in prioritization and organization. They must
enjoy working independently as well as being part of a larger team.
