Administration Officer Child Growth Monitor*

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location can be anywhere within Germany (home based), however we would prefer Bonn as we will have occasional meetings at Head Office.

Welthungerhilfe's Child Growth Monitor is a digital application using image data and artificial intelligence to turn mobile devices into tools for measuring children in order to detect malnutrition. We are looking for a dedicated Administration Officer to support managing daily administrative tasks and documentation for Child Growth Monitor (CGM). Further key responsibilities include coordinating with internal units and external stakeholders on a variety of topics as well as assisting with project reporting for institutional donors. The role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment and play a pivotal role in advancing the Child Growth Monitor project, a groundbreaking initiative to help combat child malnutrition through timely detection.

Your responsibilities

Administration & HR

• Run and track daily administrative tasks of the Child Growth Monitor project
• Prepare documentation for all relevant administrative processes and install regular update cycles where necessary
• Coordinate organizational and technical processes with other organizational units of Welthungerhilfe
• Support with basic HR and team related administrative tasks

Governance and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Welthungerhilfe and donor regulations in project administration
• Be the focal point for data protection in Welthungerhilfe's CGM team. Coordinate with Welthungerhilfe's Legal and Compliance Unit as well as external service providers on the topic of data protection, safety and security
• Coordinate with Welthungerhilfe’s Legal and Compliance Unit on general contractual and legal topics for the CGM topic

Donor and Stakeholder Reporting

• Support in project reporting for institutional donors

Product team support

• Act as a general liaison between product team and project team and support the Head of Project with related tasks
• Assist the product team with project management related tasks

Country implementation support

• Support country implementation activities, communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders, contracting, meeting organization and collecting best practices

Your profile

• A university or college degree or a completed training corresponding to the position
• Relevant work experience in administrative project support
• Experience working with general legal and data compliance would be an asset
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence/Computer Vision/Machine Learning is an advantage
• Excitement to work in an intercultural working environment
• Excellent spoken and written English; German language skills would be asset
