    OPPORTUNITY

    We are seeking a Director, Talent to lead the execution of ANet's human resource function while spearheading innovative HR initiatives that drive equitable outcomes for all staff members. They will be a trusted partner to ANet's leadership team on HR matters, coordinate resource planning operations, and design and drive inclusive and sustainable employee-related services, policies, and processes. It will require thinking strategically about challenges and a knack for tactical execution by working closely with our HR Generalist. The Director, Talent will work closely with and report to the Vice President, Talent.

    TRAVEL

    Up to three times a year for team related events and four days for our company wide offsite. This fiscal year we will be going to Philadelphia in January 2025.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the execution of ANet's compensation and benefits processes (including salary banding, annual calibration, total rewards/recognition, and titling framework) aligned with external market-based factors and internal equity so that ANet can offer a robust value proposition that attracts and retains top talent
    • Serve as the go-to human resources partner to drive the execution of Talent initiatives, policies, and procedures
    • Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals, ensuring a seamless process from hiring to onboarding
    • Collaborate with Vice President, Talent and Chief Operating & Financial Officer in key annual talent planning activities and milestones Drive the use of data analytics to produce people insights and innovative HR solutions for ANet's leaders. Identify where inequities exist within our internal HR processes to drive toward equitable solutions
    • Oversee benefits and leave administration to ensure employees maximize ANet's benefits
    • Work closely with our People Managers to resolve employee issues, following appropriate laws and procedures to ensure equitable outcomes for all involved
    • Own the development and rollout/implementation of policies, benefits, and ANet's employee handbook in partnership with the HR Generalist
    • Act as the PEO (Professional Employer Organization) Relationship Manager, overseeing the HR team's execution of payroll and benefits administration

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

    To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:

    • Demonstrates deep expertise of HR practices, talent management, compensation, and benefits. Able to apply this expertise to drive the execution of Talent initiatives and ensure organizational alignment with external trends and internal equity.
    • Manages the relationship with the PEO to oversee payroll and benefits administration. Demonstrates expertise in HR administration and maintains clear, effective communication with the PEO and internal Talent team.
    • Use effective written and oral communication to interact with ANetters, teams, and external partners. Demonstrates empathy and active listening to address employee issues and resolve conflicts, ensuring equitable outcomes for all involved.
    • Partner closely with a variety of stakeholders, including the Talent Acquisition team, People Managers, and Senior Leadership. Demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly to align recruitment strategies and talent planning with organizational objectives.
    • Consistently identifies, gathers, and applies relevant data and information to make informed decisions. Utilizes data analytics to produce insights, identify inequities, and drive innovative HR solutions that support organizational goals.
    • Effectively breaks down complex tasks and projects (such as policy development, compensation processes, and benefits administration) into manageable steps. Executes these tasks efficiently, adjusting plans and priorities as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Own the development and implementation of HR policies, benefits, and the employee handbook. Utilizes HR knowledge and planning skills to create and roll out effective guidelines that support ANet's mission and values.

    Preferred skills:

    • Change Management Experience: Demonstrated success in navigating organizational changes and supporting teams through transitions smoothly.
    • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Expertise: Experience in launching DEI initiatives and building a workplace where everyone feels valued and included.
    • Talent Development Experience: Skilled in creating and running manager programs that develop internal talent and support effective succession planning.
    • Data Analytics Skills: Experience with HR analytics tools and techniques to derive deeper insights and drive strategic decisions.

    BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

    We offer comprehensive benefits to best support our people.     The salary range for this position is between $99,144-$148,716. New hires will start between the range minimum and midpoint ($99,144-$123,930) based on qualifications assessed during the hiring process, past experience, and internal equity.
