JOB SUMMARY:
This position will provide bilingual counseling (in-person and virtually) to women and families coping with Breast Cancer. It will also provide on-site weekly crisis intervention, concrete services, advocacy and patient navigation for patients served at Nassau University Medical Center Breast and Oncology clinics and at other hospitals as directed As well as providing consultation and education to health care providers and facilitating support group(s) (in-person and virtually) in English and/or Spanish. This is a grant funded position.
SALARY INFORMATION:
In compliance with New York's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $52,000 - $62,000. Adelphi University considers factors such as departmental budgets, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
